Twitter is gay. It's basically just facebook status updates. The only reason soom peeps use it is because hollywood stars do. There's really no point to it IMO.

yeah, but a lot of people use it.

I think it's just one of those things that everyone does "just because."

Well, a lot of celebs use it, but I don't really follow that scene.

I hope this topic doesn't turn into another twitter vs facebook vs bla bla bal argument.

Well, back on topic, I think if Gribble Games had some kind of contest and gave away a few copy of Canine Combat, I think that would be good.

I think it would also help more people get involved with the community.

Yeah, I'd be game for a contest. I probably wont win, but hey, at the prospect of getting to play Canine Combat for free--heck, I'd try!

Now if we could only come up with an idea for the contest...

Maybe...a mod contest? The one who makes the best mod/custom map wins.

Seriously, how about the user get some kind of autographed copy of the game. That is, if Gribble games supports a hard cd-copy of it.

I doubt there will be any hard copy. The game will mostlikly be distributed through the website and through other portals.

I still like the idea of holding a contest, (free canine combat anyone?)

Free is good. As for a contest, maybe we could have an art contest? Maybe we could see who could make the best gribble logo.
